Husband. Father. Geek.
My professional journey is powered by a unique blend of service and technology. I hold a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and an undergraduate degree in Hospitality Management (with a minor in Applied Computer Science). This educational background has driven my career focus: using technology to create exceptional and seamless experiences for both colleagues and customers. I thrive at the intersection of business strategy and software development, and I continue to enjoy writing code whenever possible.
Life Outside the Terminal
Outside of my professional pursuits, my world revolves around my family. I love spending time with my wife and sons, focusing on their activities and making time to unplug on the couch.
To stay active, I enjoy my time at the gym and getting out into nature, particularly exploring the Texas Hill Country. I’m also drawn to the water, spending time surfing, whether behind a boat, on the ocean, or at a flowrider. My current culinary obsession is the science and art of homemade pizza—a perfect mix of technical precision and creative expression.
Finally, I’m an avid fan and collector of Trading Card Games (TCGs), playing both Magic: The Gathering and Disney Lorcana. My collecting interest focuses on the unique, culture-crossing art of Magic’s Secret Lairs and, of course, any card featuring Squirtle.
Think One Zero: Developing Ideas One Byte at a Time
When I’m not focused on my main professional role, I channel my development and creative energy into Think One Zero.
Think One Zero is my personal brand and workshop for building, documenting, and sharing robust self-hosting solutions. I specialize in creating reliable Docker configurations for various use cases, from media management to home automation, and I also use the platform to share my original 3D printing models.
